Shipping & Returns


Shipping: We only ship to US 50 States and Canada at this time. Please use the contact us page to request mailings to your country and if we get enough requests we may expand our shipping regions.

Canada Standard International Flat Rate $10.00 per order US Postal Service states: Please be aware 1-4 weeks is an estimated delivery time frame only and Varies by destination 1. Excludes delay in customs longer than 24 hours. 2. Average performance to major markets. 3. Actual transit time may vary for origin and destination  

Canada Priority International Flat Rate $25.00 per order US Postal Service states: 6 - 10 business days to many major markets and that actual transit time may vary for origin and destination

Shipping Policy

Packages only shipped to US and Canada addresses using USPS United States Postal Service. US customers will receive a tracking number by email when your package has been shipped. To locate your package go to usps.com and enter the tracking number that was provided in the shipping confirmation email. *Note Canadian customers USPS tracking may not be available once package crosses into Canada. 

We cannot be responsible for items confiscated or lost in the mail and therefore we will not assume responsibility for the shipment once it is accepted by the United States Postal Service. 

Shipping rates: Seeds are charged a flat rate see above. Other items can be based on total order dollar amounts or may have weight-based shipping fees. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound except seeds.

Some products cannot be shipped into certain states due to agricultural restrictions. We try to put warnings in the product details but we cannot be responsible for items confiscated by agricultural inspections. 

Returns Policy

Happy customers are at the heart of Sunshine Flower Seeds so please let us know if something is not as expected. Please do not send seeds back without first contacting us by sending a message from your Sunshine Flower Seeds account, using the Contact Us page or emailing info@sunshineflowerseeds.com. Seeds are living organisms and need to be properly stored in a dry, dark, cool location and carefully cared for therefore we cannot be responsible for what happens to the seed once it leaves our storeroom. All seed is purchased from superior growers and suppliers. Germination issues are taken seriously and we may need to retest our stock before sending out replacements but we will notify you if this is the case. 

Return requests on seeds are for wrong items shipped or damaged items only: Login to your account under "My Account", choose "Complete Orders" then choose the correct order and click "Return Items" button. We'll notify you via e-mail that your return request has been received and if approved we will email further instructions for returning the items. After we've received and processed the return we will email you a status update. If you checked out as a guest and do not have an account with us you can reach us from the Contact Us page on the website or email admin@sunshineflowerseeds.com your name, order number and item name with details explaining what is not right and your preference of exchange for a different item, replacement with same item or a refund. 

We will process an exchange, replacement or refund depending on your preference and our agreement that the request is reasonable. You will be notified of the status of your inquiry within a week (usually sooner). 

If you have buyer's remorse such as you ordered the wrong color or realized the variety won't grow where you live or any number of such happenings that cause tears contact us and we will see what we can do to help you be a happy customer again. We are pretty reasonable folks and maybe a coupon for shipping or a discount on your next order can be arranged.

*Note original shipping charges will not be refunded. If an item is damaged or a wrong item was shipped we will refund you the cost of return shipping and cover the shipping to send out a new item. If you have questions email us we want you to be a happy customer.

When a refund is processed you will receive a credit back to the card or Paypal account that was used for the original purchase within about 2 weeks of the return ship date but it may take up to four weeks. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 7 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
